Fuji Kogyo is engaged in the "Sports & Fishing Project" to protect the rich natural environment
of its hometown of Shizuoka in partnership with Shimizu S-Pulse football club, with which it has
a club partner agreement.
Although Shimizu S-Pulse and Fuji Kogyo are in different fields,
we carry out various social contribution activities together under the slogan "Turf & Surf:
Conserving Nature for the Future," based on our passionate mutual feelings about protecting the
environment for the future.

I am pleased to announce that I have been appointed as ambassador for the
Sports & Fishing Project.
Through this project, I will work to help convey the appeal and
magnificence of Shizuoka, where I was born and raised. By participating in social contribution
activities together with members of the local community, I also hope to deepen my own insight
and help pass on the rich natural environment to future generations.

Small Kindness Activities
All employees participate in the Small Kindness Activities
Being kind to others is a basic principle that we must not forget as members of
society.
We are actively engaged in the Small Kindness Activities to build warm and
cheerful homes, workplaces, and a wider society filled with human decency and compassion.
In addition to Small Kindness activities, we also collect used postage stamps as one part of the
movement that anyone can participate in immediately.
These activities—which began in
1997—expanded as the activities of the Small Kindness Activities Shizuoka in 2005. In 2007, the
10th anniversary of the movement's establishment, we received a certificate of appreciation
(plaque) from the Small Kindness Activities Shizuoka.
Eco-Cap Activities
Eco-Cap Activities to deliver polio vaccine to developing countries
The Eco-Cap Activities is an activity run by the NPO Japan Committee, Vaccines
for the World’s Children, to deliver polio vaccines to children in developing countries.
Collected bottle caps from PET plastic bottles are purchased by collection companies, and
part of the purchase amount is donated.
Fuji Kogyo has participated in the Eco-Cap
Activities since 2010, helping to make more people to be happy.
Activities to pass on rich waterfront environments to future generations
Participation in social activities such as fish stocking (release) activities and popularizing sportfishing, mainly in Shizuoka City and Kikugawa City
Together with the Japan Sportfishing Foundation—a public interest incorporated foundation, whose
slogan is "For tomorrow's fishing, for nature"—Fuji Kogyo is engaged in a project to increase
fish populations through fish stocking, activities to promote sportfishing, and conservation and
maintenance of fishing ground environments, mainly in its local communities of Shizuoka City and
Kikugawa City.
Cleanup activities are held every year on the third Sunday of October
(Waterside Thanksgiving Day), with the active participation of not only Fuji Kogyo employees but
also their families.
In the Shizuoka area, the event is held at Hirono Kaigan Park in
Shizuoka City and Sagara Sun Beach in Makinohara City, with around 200 people participating each
year.

FISHING
Sponsoring a radio program that communicates the appeal of the outdoors and sportfishing
"OUTDOOR & FISHING" is a radio program broadcast by the Shizuoka FM radio
station K-mix since April 2019.
The program communicates the charm of the outdoors and
sportfishing through entertaining conversation and music in a talk show format.
Shizuoka
prefecture is blessed with natural surroundings including the ocean, rivers, and forests, and is
home to many people who enjoy outdoor leisure activities.
The OUTDOOR & FISHING show
delivers exciting entertainment from Shizuoka on a weekly basis.

Recovery support for heavy rain and flood damage in eastern Australia
Donation of $20,000 (AUD) to support recovery efforts in Australia
From late February to early March 2022, Eastern Australia including Sydney was hit by extreme
flooding following days of rain which is said once in 100 years.
We are so sorry to know
that serious damages were brought to the community, the nature, and the fishing industry
there.
As a member of the fishing industry, which has received a lot favors from the
natural environment, we support our Australian distributor, Frogleys Offshore’s efforts in
relation with “Australian Fishing Tournament” to help the community and the fishing industry
recover.
We wish recovery from this disaster as quickly as possible.
